Classic Surf Trip in Morocco – Daily Spot Transfers and Full Board

These terms apply to every surf camp booking made with Twist Surf through this website, by email or by WhatsApp. Please read them before you pay your deposit: by booking, you confirm that you accept them on behalf of everyone in your booking.

1. Who we are

Twist Surf is a trading name of Twist Surf Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15658336.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Twist Surf" mean Twist Surf Ltd. "You" means the person who makes the booking (the lead guest) and every guest named in it.

2. Booking and your contract with us

To book, complete the booking form for your package and pay the amount shown before you confirm: a deposit of 15% of your trip total (package price plus any extras you choose, such as a private room or an apartment) plus the tourist tax of €12 per person. The rest of your trip total is paid on arrival at the camp.

Your booking is confirmed, and a contract between you and Twist Surf Ltd is formed, when we send you a booking confirmation by email. Until then we may decline a booking, for example if the dates are no longer available, in which case any money you paid is refunded in full.

The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for making sure that the details of everyone in the booking are correct and that every guest has read these terms.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are per person, in euros, and include everything listed under "What's included" on the package page. Anything not listed there, such as flights, travel insurance, drinks and personal spending, is not included.

The deposit is paid online through PayPal. The remaining balance of the package price, plus any extras you have added, is paid on arrival at the camp, unless we agree another arrangement with you in writing.

Optional extras are charged as shown in the booking form, for example a private double room with private bathroom (€30 per room per night) or board and wetsuit insurance (€25 per person for 7 days).

Once your booking is confirmed we will not increase the package price, except to pass on a new or increased government tax or fee that applies to your stay. If that would raise your total price by more than 8%, you may cancel and receive a full refund of what you have paid.

4. If you cancel

You can cancel at any time by email to [email protected]. The date we receive your email is the cancellation date. We refund your deposit as follows:

• 30 days or more before arrival: 75% of the deposit refunded
• 29 to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit refunded
• Less than 15 days before arrival, a no-show, or leaving early: no refund

Because the balance is only paid on arrival, you will not owe anything beyond the deposit if you cancel before you travel. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.

5. Changes and name transfers

If you want to change your dates, package or room, contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to help, subject to availability; any difference in price will be charged or refunded.

If a guest cannot travel, you may transfer their place to another person by telling us in writing at least 30 days before arrival. The new guest must accept these terms. We may charge an administration fee of up to $100.

6. If we change or cancel your holiday

Surfing depends on the ocean, so day-to-day plans such as which spot we surf, lesson times, yoga sessions and excursion days can move to make the most of the conditions and keep everyone safe. These changes are part of a surf holiday and are not a change to your booking.

If we have to make a significant change to your booking, or cancel it, we will tell you as soon as possible. You can then accept the change, choose other dates or another package, or cancel and receive a full refund of everything you have paid us.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics, government action or civil unrest. If such an event stops us providing your holiday, we will refund the amounts you paid us for the services you could not use.

7. Travel insurance, passports and health

Travel insurance is compulsory for every guest. It must cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation and repatriation, and surfing as an activity. We recommend that it also covers cancellation and your belongings.

You are responsible for having a valid passport, any visa you need to enter Morocco, and any vaccinations or medication recommended for your trip. Please tell us before you arrive about any medical condition, injury or pregnancy that could affect your ability to surf, and let your instructor know if you cannot swim confidently.

8. Surfing, activities and safety

Surfing, yoga, quad biking, beach activities and excursions all involve some risk of injury, however well they are run. Our instructors choose spots and sessions to suit each guest's level and the conditions, but they cannot remove every risk of the ocean.

For your safety and other guests' safety, you agree to follow the instructions of our instructors and guides, not to take part in activities under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and to use the equipment provided with care. We may refuse to let a guest take part in an activity, or ask a guest to leave, if their behaviour puts themselves or others at risk; in that case no refund is due.

Children under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout their stay. Rental equipment that is lost or damaged through misuse may be charged at repair or replacement cost, unless you have taken the optional board and wetsuit insurance.

9. Our responsibility to you

We will provide the services in your package with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Apart from that, our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the total price you paid for it. We are not responsible for losses you suffer that we could not reasonably foresee, for services you arrange directly with other providers, or for loss or damage caused by your own actions.

You remain responsible for your own belongings during your stay. Valuables can be left with our team, but we cannot accept responsibility for items left unattended on the beach or in shared rooms.

10. Complaints

If something is not right during your stay, please tell our team straight away so we can fix it while you are here. If you are still unhappy afterwards, email [email protected] within 28 days of the end of your stay and we will reply within 14 days.

11. Your personal data

12. Law and jurisdiction

These terms and any contract between us are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in another country as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country, and you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on this page on the date your booking was confirmed.
