A Morocco Surf Adventure: Surf Taghazout, Then Explore the Coast
Ultimate is our Morocco surf adventure, for guests who want to see more of the country between surf sessions. You get four days of two-hour surf lessons with transfers and equipment, free use of the surf gear for the rest of your stay, two yoga sessions and every meal, including a BBQ night.
The rest of the week is for exploring: a road trip north to Imsouane, home of one of the longest waves in Africa, a day in the old port town of Essaouira, a bonfire on the beach, Paradise Valley and Agadir city with its souk. Airport or bus station transfers are included both ways.
Imsouane: One of the Longest Waves in Africa
About an hour and a half north of Taghazout along the coast road, the fishing village of Imsouane sits on a sheltered bay with a slow, peeling right-hander that can run for a very long way. It is a dream for improvers and longboarders, and beginners can ride the gentle inside section. The day out leaves time to surf, eat fresh fish straight from the boats and watch the sunset.
Essaouira, the Bonfire and Paradise Valley
Further up the coast, Essaouira has a walled medina, blue fishing boats and a relaxed, artistic atmosphere, and makes a long but rewarding day trip. Back in the bay, an evening bonfire on the beach is one of the week’s favourite moments, and Paradise Valley, about an hour inland, offers palm-filled gorges and natural pools for a swim on a flat day.

Where You Stay and What You Eat
Our surf house sits in Taghazout Bay, between the villages of Aourir and Tamraght, about 45 minutes from Agadir airport. You come back from the waves to a swimming pool, a panoramic terrace over the bay, a restaurant where every meal is served and free WiFi throughout.
The package price includes a bed in a shared room. If you would rather have your own space, you can add a private room with a double bed or twin beds for up to 2 people at €30 per room per night, or an apartment for up to 4 people at €45 per night, directly in the booking form. Private rooms and apartments are subject to availability, and we confirm them by email.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are home-cooked Moroccan and international dishes. In the booking form you can tell us how many people in your group are vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free or lactose-free, so the kitchen can plan for you.
Prices, Extras and Booking
The Morocco surf adventure costs €749 per person for seven nights, with airport transfers included both ways. You can add these extras in the booking form:
- Private room for up to 2 people (double or twin beds): €30 per room per night; apartment for up to 4 people: €45 per night
- Board and wetsuit insurance: €25 per person for the whole stay
- Special diets for any number of people in your group, at no extra cost
Booking takes four short steps online. You only pay a 15% deposit on the trip, plus the tourist tax of €12 per person, securely with PayPal; the rest is paid when you arrive at the camp. The price updates live as you choose rooms and extras, so you always see what you will pay.
Morocco Surf Adventure Questions
How far is Imsouane from Taghazout?
Imsouane is roughly an hour and a half north along the coast road, so the trip is a full day out with time to surf, eat fresh fish and watch the sunset.
Is the Morocco surf adventure suitable for beginners?
Yes. The four lesson days are adapted to your level, and at Imsouane beginners can ride the gentle inside section of the wave. If surfing is your main goal, the All Inclusive or Premium week gives you more lessons.
Are airport transfers included?
Yes, both ways: we pick you up at Agadir airport or bus station when you arrive and take you back when you leave. Just choose airport or bus station in the booking form.
